Protectors of Pine Oak Woods welcomes Pat Salmon for an in-depth look at the Parks of Staten Island including High Rock Park, the Arden Heights Woods, Silver Lake Park, Clove Lake Park, Latourette Park, and, of course, Protectors first success, Clay Pit Pond State Park Preserve.  This presentation, "Celebrating the Parks of Staten Island" examines the wildlife, habitats, and the rare and endangered species of Staten Island parks.

We will also enjoy a showing of Staten Island’s talented photographers and their beautiful wildlife portraits and landscapes capturing our island’s natural spaces.  Lastly, we are excited to share a video production introducing Protectors latest effort to preserve open space across the island.
